Before being a guide:
Tour guide and coordinator for student travels, guide on battlefields in Vimy, France, Actor and author specialized in historical shows, director of a theatre company, official interpret of Samuel de Champlain (founder of Quebec) for the 400th anniversary, director of Fêtes de la Nouvelle-France, director of a company designing hi-tech experiences for events and attractions (e.g.: Immersion) Quebec), expert of content in tourism for colleges in Quebec and Ontario
Why did I become a guide:
I love presenting my hometown and meeting with new people of all ages from all around the world. As I am still working elsewhere, it takes me out of time in front of my computer
In my tours, I like to insist on:
I like to give both a historical and wide perspective and use fun facts as an introduction or conclusion to the topics. I had the chance to discuss with many of the best historians in town, as I was writing and directing historical shows so I get to know tons of them. I love it when visitors have special request, special interests.
