Spoken Languages: French and English
The tours I do:
Walking tours; bus guide and driver guide
Travel experiences:
Canada from the Atlantic to the Pacific and several American cities. The main countries in Western Europe; some countries in North/South Africa: Tunisia, South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe and finally Cambodia and Vietnam.
Occupations before becoming a tourist guide:
All my professional life I was a sales representative in medical instrumentation and equipment and for my last 5 years I worked in personal financial planning.
Reasons why I became a tourist guide:
At the very beginning, to pay for my university studies, I became a tourist guide on minibuses for 3 years. I was even a naturalist guide on Bonaventure Island. And what do you do when you retire? Good yes! you become a tourist guide again, especially when you love your city and its history.
The aspects that I address during my visits:
The fabulous history of Quebec City. I always make it a point to ask each of my clients what country or city they come from. So I managed to involve them in my story. They love it.
